

Free Medical Consultation Helpline
The pandemic saw inability of a large section of society to access qualified doctors. A need was felt to take medical consultant to the homes of those who did not have access to qualified doctors.
WE CARE started a Helpline for Free Medical Tele Consultation which commenced functioning with effect from May 26, 2021.The helpline functions everyday from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Individuals from all part of the country can call on the Helpline and consultation is provided by a qualified doctor.In case the patient is required to undergo an examination like blood, urine etc. the same is prescribed by the doctor.
The facility has been availed by a large number of patients and will continue to function as long as it is required.The Helpline has also been supported by Navratan Foundations and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sena.

Col (Dr) Amitabha Ghosh (Retd), MBBS (CAL) DNB (TRG) PGCC, ATMO, GENERAL PHYSICIAN
An alumnus of Calcutta Medical College, he was selected for permanent commission as Doctor in Indian Armed Forces.Has served as General Practitioner medical officer, Regimental Medical Officer, Registrar of Hospital, Director (Commanding Officer) of various peace time Military Hospitals & operational Field Hospitals and also Group Director of hospital group of Military & Field Hospitals, and is vastly experienced in patient care – in OPD (Outdoor) services, Indoor Hospital care, Critical care, Immunisation services, Mass casualty managements & patient evacuations. Had the opportunity to serve in SCB Medical College in Cuttack, Odisha& SMS Medical College in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Was selected by Indian Army to serve in foreign assignment in Bhutan. His area of special interest is General Practice & Paediatrics. He is a life member of Indian Academy of Paediatrics.

An MBBS from R.G. Kar Medical College, he served for 33 years in army. Has a rich experience of managing patients in different hospitals across the country. He has also commanded a field hospital in border areas of Punjab.

An MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital, she has experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She isa Short Service Officer in Indian Air Force and has also been Medical Officer at Family Welfare Centres of Indian Air Force. She is currently settled in Kolkata.
